This is the Federal Cemetary located in Marietta, Georgia. Michael and I spent some time there today. It rained for awhile, so we parked beneath a tree and gazed out at all these tombstones. We were saying little prayers out loud as we drove about the massive graveyard. "SPF...Ohio" "Illinois" "Illinois" "Vietnam" "Korea" "World War II"...we said some of the names out loud and listened to the sounds of them. While we were there, a woman drove up with a potted plant and stood for ten minutes before a newish gravestone. She was crying for a long time.
