I have an almost-double-major in Theology from Creighton University, a Jesuit college in the middle of the prairie. And through my education and self-exploration, the clearest way to Spirituality is through the Buddha. Now, I am not suggesting that Christianity, in essence, is NOT a direct enough path for most, but on this Sunday morning, The Buddha has far more compassion and meaning for me than the white Jesus of the Fundamentalists. And I do believe that Wal-Mart and White Jesus are in cahoots (it's a marketing process). No, Buddha would not be involved in any such corporation that supports suburban sprawl and the death of the small town community.
